A book so chilling I both couldn't put it down and wanted to throw up in my mouth. The movie is also great, possibly just as chilling as the book. But, as always, as an English teacher I must encourage you to read before you watch.

One of my very favorites. Funny and honest and chilling at the same time. The apocalypse imagined as only the son of the legendary Mel Brooks could. Also check out the audiobook. It's abridged, but still fabulous. Each interview is performed by a different actor. My husband whined about having to listen to it and then wouldn't let me turn it off.

The other books in this series are also really wonderful, but this one is by far my favorite. Although they are written for teens, they can be quite morbid, bleak and honest. Possibly one of the most realistic looks at what would really happen.

Great movie, really touches all the bases as far as post apocalyptic fiction goes.

Awesome movie. Denzel Washington is the man. You don't see many things that show the world 30 years after. This is one of them.
