About the Actor
BRIAN FLEMMING (director/narrator) is a film director and playwright whose work has been called "jaggedly imaginative" by the New York Times, "a parallel universe" by the BBC and "immensely satisfying" by USA Today. The Fox News Channel dubbed Flemming "a young Oliver Stone." He is the co-writer of the hit Off-Broadway play Bat Boy: The Musical (six Drama Desk nominations, Lucille Lortel Best Musical Award) and the writer/director of the feature film Nothing So Strange (New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision). While he has produced nonfiction television work for ABC and Bravo, The God Who Wasn't There is Flemming's first feature-length documentary.
