Not technically in the genre because it does not deal directly with an inspirational student-teacher relationship, but it does feature a strong teacher who is attempting to do what she believes is right for a student. It is also one hell of a good movie. (It will NOT, however, leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling at the end.)
